Signs of the End of the Epoch?

So, Bejing right… 27 years ago I studied Political Science and Labour Economics and the last 3 days have reminded me how much I loved the idea of a planned economy. Excess Labour, Low Demand (because we tell people what they want and what they can have) and just plain old fashion dictatorship of the proletariat. Now I remember Karl Marx and Joesph Engles and all their utopian ideas….sort of got swept up in it….so when I get back to Capitalism Central, I’m gonna write the Chairman a letter and offer to help him fix his economy, so much fun! KPMG and Ernst & Young are here, why not JMA…exactly!

If you dig for a long time, you will get to China!!!

Am I the only one that believed this….. I mean really, Bugs Bunny and the Road Runner, this was a recurring theme! and lots more too….my dad says that if you dig clear through the earth, you will come out in China AND you will be upside down.

That is twisted!!!! So here I am in Hong Kong (China tommorrow) and guess what, its not upside down, its actually quite marvellous. Yes I bought a couple of suits and 11 shirts hand made and ready in 24 hours (sorry Blazer for Men) and we have sweet digs here looking over the water! The offices of our Toy Company are pretty sweet too and we are working our tails off seeing auditors, bankers, lawyers our HK Partner (nice Bentley by the way) and working with our team here to grow the business! Today we hit the tourist route and it was amazing. Fortunate enough to travel to many of the worlds greatest cities, Hong Kong just bumped London and Paris down the list!!!

Getting used to working while North America sleeps and trying to sleep while North America works is nutty!!!

Learning a ton!

Cleaned my basement on the weekend…great therapy for what ails me, which is plenty. Found this letter, good reading, and a great idea, go looking yourself for stuff like this and remember from whence you came! Hope this helps you even 5% of what it did for me!
