What exactly do the Toronto Maple Leafs have to do with Accounting and Tax…. I’m Glad you asked. You see, each summer, we retape our ankles and jump on the big blue bandwagon known as “This is the Year” So right now, I am riding high on the expectation of a Stanley Cup. We have drunk the koolaid, were looking forward to the opener and expect great things. Here’s the connection. In business its all about optomism. If you dont believe you can make a profit, run your business….grow something, your done. 20 minutes after the recession is announced, too many poser businesses were over and OUT. But the real business owners were all about the opportunity, what can we do to take advantage of this down turn. So Ladies and Gentlemen….lift your glass to the Toronto Maple Leafs, the only thing we have is optomism and Leafs fans always win at that!

Monday, September 7th, 2009First of all, lets give thanks for the “u” in Labour Day, at very Canadian Spelling Eh! Funny thing is that the Yanks leave the “u” out….I always feel like they leave “u” out of pretty much everything! but I got over that in 1992 when a bankruptcy judge threw my partners and I out of the USA, tanked our public company and opened a new door for me here in Canada (again!) So, on Labour Day, I am thankful to be a Canadian and for the gift of working hard and seeing things grow! Very excited to get back to the rigour (nice u again) and figure our what I can do for U….
Go Leafs, Go Bills, Go Tories.
